I’ve learned who I take my advice from is super important. Everyone has an opinion but do they have results from the area in which they are giving their advice? Sports is a great example. There are a lot of people in the stands giving advice, but many have never played the game.
I like this quote from Warren Buffet. It reminds me that it’s not always about jumping into something you love, or are most passionate about. That may come later. “It actually makes more sense to explore things that might work in practice, and then find the ones among them that can inspire your passion.” – Warren Buffet
How do you manage your money and track your spending? I recommend YNAB (You Need a Budget). It’s online envelope budgeting software and has a mobile app too. I can maintain my bank balances while also tracking against our family budget.
