I’ve been journaling regularly to keep my mind focused. This habit helps me process thoughts, stay in control of them, and shape how I feel.
I use the DayOne app on my iPhone for convenience, allowing me to quickly type or text entries. Other methods, like a notebook or notes app, work just as well.
I see a journal also as a space for randomness—it doesn’t always need to be structured. An electronic journal lets me save quotes, images, and quick thoughts easily.
Our thoughts shape our actions, which form our behavior and character. How we feel reflects what we focus on. Journaling helps direct thoughts to achieve my desired outcomes in life.
Like any habit, journaling takes time to build, but it’s worth it.
